Hi! I'm Carmen Steinfeld. Certified Health and Wellness Coach.

Life is tough, things happen, and there’s no sense in talking about protein if you’re having a hard time getting out of bed in the morning. Accountability coaching takes into consideration the entirety of your life and who you are as a person.

My interest in food health and wellness began as a child.

I learned from my grandparents that herbs, teas poultices and tinctures could be used to heal everything from stomach aches, ear aches, restless sleep and sore throat. Later, I became aware of other modes of healing through exercise like pilates and yoga, herbs, homeopathy and most recently and most importantly FOOD. In our house, food was always homemade and everyone was encouraged to help out in the kitchen. We shopped for produce in outdoor markets and had bone broth before it was cool (it was just chicken soup then). I was always allowed to eat when I was hungry and leave food on my plate when I was full. Sugar wasn’t a major part of my diet, it was considered an occasional treat.

I often found myself sharing this knowledge about food and other ways of healing with friends and family and using it to treat my family and my children. I decided to take this passion and knowledge one step further and to formalize my training by becoming a certified health coach so that I could better support those who are ready to commit to a healthier way of living, eating and healing.

As an Integrative Health Coach, I work with people to help them lose weight, sleep better, reduce inflammation and help them learn how to better feed themselves (and their families) for their optimal health and nutrition.

I received my training from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where I studied a variety of dietary theories and practical lifestyle coaching methods. With my knowledge, we will co-create a completely personalized plan with actions based on your goals to move you toward your ideal vision of health within your unique body, lifestyle, preferences, and resources.

 

I don’t believe in counting calories...but I do believe in choosing nutrient-dense foods so that calorie counting isn’t needed.

My Approach is to guide you to find the food and lifestyle choices that best support you. I will also help you to make gradual, lifelong changes that enable you to reach your current and future health goals.

Most approaches to healthy eating dwell on calories, carbohydrates, fats, and proteins. Instead of creating lists of restrictions of good and bad foods, I coach my clients to explore basic improvements and implement gradual changes during our work together.

As these pieces accumulate, my clients find the changes collectively create a much larger impact than they originally expected. We work on what you want to improve, and within the circumstances of your unique situation.

I started my coaching practice to help people (children and their families too) to reclaim health, feel energized and find balance from the inside out naturally.

I help clients lose weight, detox their bodies, and feel totally ready to embrace life again. I love what I do. The transformation clients see when they finally learn to cleanse their bodies, treat themselves with love, and balance themselves is so rewarding.

With my guidance and support, I can help you create a healthy balanced life and discover liveliness all over again. You’ve come to the right place, and I am here to support you to reach your health goals.

I too suffered from adrenal fatigue, hypothyroidism and health imbalances. I spent hours learning about different healing modalities.

What I believe is that we are all different and have unique nutritional needs. As a Certified Holistic Health & Wellness Coach, educated at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and Functional Nutrition Labs. I help people who suffer from the same things that I did and help them discover and learn what is right for them to eat & how to live to have more energy every day. I help them conquer digestive distress, hormonal imbalances, insomnia, stress and more.

Not quick fixes but long term sustainable changes for living.

I’m not into counting calories, but am into eating soundly so that you don’t have to. Eating whole, nutritional dense foods so that you make every bite count.
